Ossimitjessie's Animal Obsession

It’s almosttttt FRIDAAYYYYY. This was a request from one of my besties:D
Species: Proboscis Monkey
This odd looking monkey is also known as the long-nosed monkey, that lives in Borneo, a south-east Asian island! This monkey is sexually dimorphic (which means the males and females have a different appearance!) The males weigh twice as much as the females and have much longer noses than them as well! They have an extremely crazy appearance! Their coats are normally a reddish orange, and the infants are born black with very vivid blue faces! And the larger noses on the males tend to attract the females more, and the larger the nose the more enhanced their vocalization is! Pretty cool, right? The males make a strange honking noise, a different honk to the infants, actually reassuring them. They also make alarm calls to signal danger. The males and females, make different vocalization calls as well as looking different. This monkey primarily eats leaves and fruits. These monkeys live in groups, usually consisting of one male and some dominant females along with their offspring. They have a few predators: the clouded leopard, the crocodile, monitor lizards, eagles, and pythons. The females become sexually mature at the age of 5. Mating season peaks between March and May normally. Once the mother gives birth, she will eat off the placenta and clean her babies. And something even cooler, she will let the members of her group hold her babies. (PRECIOUSSS)
Aren’t they just GORGEOUS ;)
